The Reston (VA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is pleased to announce its Annual Scholarship Award Program to 2024 graduating high school seniors of Herndon High School, South Lakes High School and Tuscarora High School. 

The Links, Incorporated, is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 16,000 professional women of African descent in 292 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

 
The Reston (VA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, serving the community since 1975, is proud to continue our Annual Scholarship Program where multiple scholarships are awarded to qualifying students.  Below are the three scholarship categories:

Annual scholarships for graduates who have excelled at their local high school and are planning to attend a college/university in the U.S. in the fall of 2024.

Historical Black College or University (HBCU) Scholarship awarded to students who will attend an HBCU in the fall of 2024 and have excelled during their high school career.

The Marilyn Lightfoote, MD, Scholarship assists a minority female high school student who will major in a STEM related field at a four-year institution.
